We head out of Edinburgh towards the highlands the first stop is the the picturesque town of pitlochry . Here you will be able to visit the salmon ladder and the stunning loch take time for some shopping.
Pitlochry is a town you could find that unusual gift.
The second stop is the Dalwhinnie distillery (home of lizzie’s dram).
Take a tour and see how Uisce Beatha the water of life (whisky)is made.
Take the time to sample some of Scotland’s finest Whisky.
From Dalwhinnie distillery we make our way to the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
This impressive architecture is one of Scotland’s most iconic sights.
Home to the magical Hogwarts Express famed in the Harry Potter collection.
As well as the Jacobite Express we will also visit the Bonnie Prince Charlie monument where in 1745 the Jacobite rising began when Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard on the shores of Loch Shiel.
This is one of Scotland’s iconic and stunning sights.
After this we start to head back to Edinburgh, but it’s not the end of you’re day yet.
We will drive home through the great glen, Glen Coe were nature has carved out mountains and lochs.
This is Scotland’s most famous glen and you will see why the views and scenery are breathtaking.
We will have one more stop for coffee and to take everything in before we arrive back in Edinburgh.
